Sport and outdoor expert Julius Geis supports Hamburg-based outdoor brand elkline as Interim Chief Branding Officer.
“elkline has big plans for the future to expand its position further in the outdoor lifestyle market,” explains Stephan Knüppel, CEO and founder of elkline. Julius Geis, who acted as Interim Brand and Marketing Officer at elkline back in 2013, now positions the brand holistically on the executive level in his new role as Chief Branding Officer (CBO).
“Contrary to the general trend in the industry, we will continue to focus on active collaborations with retailers. Of course, we don’t ignore the digital trends. However, we want to be smart and sensible when we use the upcoming transformation processes so that all our partnerships benefit from them. A recognizable brand, therefore, is key for future success,” says Geis.
Geis is the founder of On Any Given Monday, a remote strategic branding and consulting agency. For more than ten years, he has been advising companies in the outdoor, sport and fashion industry. The 35-year-old started his career as brand and marketing manager for international sports companies such as Hawk, Bataleon and Nitro Snowboards. Most recently, Geis has been working with Globetrotter on their brand relaunch as Interim Brand Manager.
